3
c rolled oats
1-2 large carrots ¼
c corn syrup
¼ c powdered sugar
½
c applesauce
¼ c vegetable or corn oil
Grind
the oats in a food processor until they make a coarse flour.
Grate the carrots into the oats. Add the remaining
ingredients and mix well. The dough should be thick and
sticky; using a spoon, form into 1” balls on a nonstick
cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes or until
browned around the edges. Keep in an airtight container
up to 1 week, or refrigerated up to 1 month. Our horses
especially like them frozen (just leave them in the barn!).
